You have had an operation on fasciae in your chest or back.

Fasciae are thin casings made of connective tissue that surround the muscles.

If a fascia is damaged, the damaged site can be replaced by fascia tissue from somewhere else on the body.

The operation involved transplanting fascia tissue from one place on your body to another site on your chest or back.
