Operations on muscles, tendons, fasciae and bursas: Reconstruction of fasciae: Transplant removal: Forearm

You have had an operation on fasciae in your forearm.

Fasciae are thin casings made of connective tissue that surround the muscles.

When a fascia is damaged, the damaged site can be replaced by fascia tissue from elsewhere in the body or by fascia tissue from another person.

A previous operation involved transplanting fascia tissue to somewhere on your forearm. This transplanted fascia tissue on your forearm has been removed.
