Soft tissue in your head or neck has been destroyed using heat.

Examples of soft tissue are muscles, tendons and fatty tissue.

A special device is usually used for this type of treatment. The device applies heat to the tissue in the target location. Depending on the device, electricity, microwaves or other methods are used.
