An Ihrer Brust wurde ein Gang der Brustdrüse entfernt.
Die Brust besteht aus Fettgewebe, Bindegewebe und der Brustdrüse. In der Brustdrüse wird während und nach der Schwangerschaft Milch gebildet, um das Kind stillen zu können. In der Brust gibt es mehrere Gänge. Über die Gänge kann Milch von der Brustdrüse zur Brustwarze transportiert werden.
Um einen solchen Gang zu entfernen, wird eine Operation durchgeführt. Dabei wird zunächst ein Farbstoff durch die Brustwarze gegeben, um den entsprechenden Gang zu markieren. Um den Gang anschließend zu entfernen, wird ein Schnitt neben der Brustwarze gemacht.
