A wound on your nipple was closed.
The breast is made up of fatty tissue, connective tissue and the mammary gland. Milk is produced in the mammary gland during and after pregnancy so that the child can be fed. During breastfeeding, milk is released through the nipple.
Thread, clips or a special glue, for example, are used to close up the wound. If necessary, dirt or dead tissue is removed from the wound beforehand.
