Other operations on the mamma: Operations on the nipple: Plastic reconstruction by skin transplantation
A new nipple was formed on your breast through surgery.
The breast is made up of fatty tissue, connective tissue and the mammary gland. Milk is produced in the mammary gland during and after pregnancy so that the child can be fed. Milk from the mammary gland passes through the milk ducts to the nipple and from there outwards.
Skin from the breast can be used to form a new nipple. Skin or tissue from another part of the body can also be used.
Additional indicator
