You have had surface layers of skin removed from your buttocks.

The skin is made up of multiple layers. The epidermis is on the outside. The epidermis does not get any blood. Below this is the dermis. There are lots of blood vessels and nerves in the dermis. Below the dermis is the subcutaneous tissue. It contains fatty tissue and connective tissue.

To remove the surface layers of skin from your buttocks, a device was used to strip your skin.
