Just one incision was made for your laparoscopy.
A laparoscopy usually involves making a small incision in the abdomen. A tube with a camera is pushed through this incision into the abdomen. This camera sends pictures of the inside of the abdomen to a screen. Additional small incisions in the abdomen can also be made. This allows instruments such as forceps or scissors to be passed through. In your case, only a single incision in the abdomen was required. This incision is usually at the belly button.
