Your operation involved using a robot.

The robot consists of a control unit and some robot arms. Depending on the surgical procedure, special devices can be used in the robot arms. The control unit can display greatly magnified three-dimensional images of the inside of the body. So the robot arm devices can be controlled with great precision during the operation.

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • B: Both sides
