You have had tissues joined to one another by a suture.

You had a tube pushed to the site that was going to be treated. A camera is attached to the end of the tube. This camera then sends images to a screen during the examination. It can then be seen whether the tissue is healthy or changed. A device that could be used to sew your tissue together was also inserted through the tube. This type of device is used in the gastrointestinal area, for example.

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
