Special surgical techniques and operations in special care situations: Intraoperative blood flow measurements in vessels
During an operation your blood flow was measured in one or more blood vessels.
Blood flow can be measured using ultrasound, for example. Measurements may include, for example, how quickly the blood in the blood vessel is flowing, or in which direction. The measurements enable a judgment to be made on whether the blood is able to flow through the blood vessel properly.
