Your skin was treated with a radioactive drug.

First, a foil is placed on the relevant part of your skin. Then a radioactive drug is applied to the foil, which emits radiation into the environment. The intention is for the radiation to destroy pathologically altered cells in the upper layers of skin.

Additional indicator

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • L: Left
  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
