Administration of oxygen: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBT): Treatment lasting up to 145 minutes without monitoring in intensive care unit

As part of a special treatment you breathed in pure oxygen.

The treatment aims to enrich the body with more oxygen than usual. You were in a special room for this treatment. The pressure in the room was greater than the normal air pressure.

The air in a room like this usually contains a large amount of oxygen. But sometimes, too, the person breathes in the oxygen through a special device. When we breathe in, oxygen enters the lungs and accumulates in the blood. All of the organs are supplied with oxygen as a result.
