(Percutaneous) transluminal stent implantation: (Percutaneous) transluminal implantation of covered non drug-eluting stent (stent graft): Three stents: Portal vein
A catheter has been used to implant some small tubes in your portal vein.
A catheter is a thin tube. This tube is inserted into a blood vessel in the groin or arm, and pushed further in. Various instruments can be pushed at the front of the tube.
The portal vein transports nutrient-rich blood from the gastrointestinal area to the liver. The liver is an important organ on the top right of the abdomen. For example, it helps with blood clotting and detoxifying the body. Nutrients from food are processed in the liver.
