(Percutaneous) transluminal stent implantation: (Percutaneous) transluminal implantation of stents for lamination of blood flow in aneurysms: Three stents: Vena cava
A catheter has been used to implant some small tubes in one of your venae cavae.
A catheter is a thin tube. This tube is inserted into a blood vessel in the groin or arm, and pushed further in. Various instruments can be pushed at the front of the tube.
The venae cavae are large blood vessels. They collect oxygen-poor blood from the body and carry it back to the heart. There is a superior and inferior vena cava.
Special tubes were used in order to channel the flow of blood at a part of the blood vessel that has widened.
Additional indicator
