A catheter has been used to implant some small tubes in a blood vessel in your forearm.

A catheter is a thin tube. This tube is inserted into a blood vessel in the groin or arm, and pushed further in. Various instruments can be pushed at the front of the tube.

Special tubes were used in order to channel the flow of blood at a part of the blood vessel that has widened.
