You have a fungal condition in your gullet.
The oesophagus or gullet connects the mouth with the stomach. It is a muscular tube. The muscles in the oesophagus move food into the stomach.
You have got a fungus that has spread. In most people, yeast occurs on the mucous membranes in the mouth, throat and digestive tract. This is normal. The yeast sometimes spreads more than usual. This can happen when the defense system is weak, for example. The defense system can be weakened by certain illnesses or medicines. It may also be weakened if the liver stops working properly.
In your case the fungus has spread to your gullet. The fungus can produce white coatings on the mucous membranes in your gullet. You may also find it difficult to swallow.
