You have symptoms after a very stressful event.

It may also take a while for you to react with various symptoms after a very stressful event. The stressful event can keep cropping up in one’s thoughts and dreams. This might also result in you avoiding situations that remind you of the event. You may also have less joy, feel more indifferent and withdraw from your social circle. There may also be other symptoms. For example, you may be jumpier than normal, feel tense inside or have trouble sleeping.
