G93.3: Chronic fatigue syndrome

You have severe, persistent fatigue.

Severe, persistent fatigue can occur, for example, after viruses or in the context of other underlying diseases. The exact cause has not yet been fully understood.

The fatigue experienced severely impairs everyday life. Even if the person rests and takes care, any improvement in the fatigue does not typically last. Other symptoms, like sleep problems, difficulty concentrating and pain, may also occur. Sometimes mild exertion is all it takes for the symptoms to get worse.
