U50.40: Severe motor function impairment: Barthel Index score: 20-35

Early on in your hospitalization you required a lot of help to carry out everyday activities.

During your hospitalization, your ability to deal with everyday life has been assessed. We have also been able to assess various activities. Your ability to take care of yourself is assessed. For example, this includes whether you can prepare food for yourself. This also includes whether you can take care of your body and whether you are able to put clothes on. Whether and how you can get around is also assessed. For example, this includes whether you can use stairs or whether you need a wheelchair. Additionally, whether you are able to use the toilet on your own, for example, is also assessed. Each case is then assessed as to whether you can perform the action independently or whether you need assistance.

Your abilities may have got better or worse since the early days of your hospitalization.
