Starting from your rectum, tissue samples were taken from your seminal vesicle.

The intestines are made up of the small intestine and the large intestine or colon. Most of the nutrients are absorbed in the small intestine. The large intestine is where water and minerals are taken from the stool. The last segment of the large intestine consists of 2 sections. These 2 sections are the rectum and anal canal. The feces are collected in the rectum. The feces then move through the short anal canal to the anus. Feces are excreted through the anus.

The seminal vesicle is also called seminal gland. The two seminal vesicles sit behind the bladder. The seminal vesicles form a sugary fluid. This fluid is important in enabling the sperm to move.

The seminal vesicle is located right in front of the rectum. This means that the seminal vesicle can be easily reached from the rectum. The tissue samples were taken using a needle. This needle was inserted through the mucous membrane of your rectum into the relevant tissue. While the samples were being taken from your seminal vesicle, images were taken of the inside of your body at the same time. That way it is possible to see exactly where the needle is.
