One or more of your finger bones have been surgically aligned and stabilized using aids.
The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. Immediately after the forearm is the carpus. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers. The thumb consists of 2 finger bones. The other fingers consist of 3 finger bones.
First of all, the finger bone fragments concerned were surgically put back in their normal place. The bone fragments concerned were joined together and stabilized using one or more screws.
