The sclera is the firm, white skin in the eye. The sclera stabilizes the eye.
You have an inflammation of the sclera. The inflammation has been caused by another disorder. This disorder is usually caused by pathogens.
When the sclera is inflamed the eye is usually sore. And one’s vision may be worse than usual. Sometimes bright light may feel uncomfortable.
